The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to Muslim believers, reports Anadolu.

In a post on social media from Mecca, where he is currently located, Begaj wished the believers for prosperity, health, harmony and goodness in their families.

“From Mecca, the holy city of faith and peace, on this marked day of Eid al-Adha, I convey to you the best wishes hearts for more prosperity, health, harmony and goodness in your families!”, says his message.

He emphasized that Kurban Bayram commemorates sacrifice, devotion to God, solidarity and care for those who need it most, adding that society is strengthened when people share both joy and responsibility for each other.

Begaj also appreciated that such holidays recall the values of faith, family, hospitality and mutual respect that have remained alive throughout the centuries.

He expressed his honor that he is spending the Kurban Bayram holiday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in a place where millions of believers from all over the world join “in prayer, humility and peace”.
