The police have arrested a person suspected of the criminal offense of attempted murder in South Mitrovica. According to the announcement on Facebook, after operational and investigative actions, there are suspicions that the arrested person today, around 01:30, attacked a person with a knife. causing physical injuries.

The victim initially received medical treatment at the Regional Hospital of Mitrovicë, while later he was transferred to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) for further treatment.

During the examination of the site of the incident, the police say that they have seized a knife, which is suspected to have been used during the commission of the criminal act. After the interview, by decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was placed in police custody for 48 hours.
