In a reaction to this statement, the candidate for deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, said that the citizens are not feeling the economic growth, but the inflation.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Murati said that one of the factors that have influenced this growth is also winning the elections on December 28, 2025 with 51.1 percent of the votes, which according to him, has increased also the confidence of businesses to invest.

He has accused the opposition of creating a political blockade that, according to him, interrupted this positive trend and led the country to unnecessary elections.

Bajrami of the LDK reacted to these statements, saying that economic indicators cannot be interpreted without taking into account the impact of inflation.

According to her, the economic growth of 5.43 percent should be seen in relation to the inflation of 7.5 percent, since the increase in prices has directly affected the purchasing power of citizens.
