Today around 03:00, the Police received information that in the village of Mushnikove, in Prizren, a fire broke out in a styrofoam factory, reports Gazeta e Prizren.

The police together with the fire brigade units, who managed to locate and put out the fire, bringing the situation under complete control.

The Investigator of the Police Station in Prizren came to the scene as well as Crime-Technology unit.

According to the information collected by the witnesses and the owner of the factory, it is suspected that the fire may have been caused by a machine used for dust absorption.

The case was confirmed by the regional spokesman of the KP, Shaqir Bytyqi. The material damage caused by the fire is estimated to be over 400,000 (four hundred thousand) euros, according to the victim’s statement.

An employee of the factory was sent to the Emergency of the Regional Hospital in Prizren, as he had breathing problems as a result of the smoke, but according to the doctor in charge, he did not suffer any obvious injuries.

Regarding the case, the Regional Investigations Sector and the State Prosecutor were notified. by whose order the “Fire incident” case was initiated./ Gazeta e Prizren
