There are two alternatives for early elections, said Kosovo President.

There are two alternatives for early elections. In case the ruling coalition loses power in the Assembly and if the leaders of the two largest parties in power make a deal about it. This is what Kosovo president Hashim Thaci told the media today following homages in honor of Afrim Zhitia and Fahri Fazliu in Prishtina.

“I do not comment to statements of any political leader, from what I see and understand currently, the majority has a power in number as well as a political one and I see a well-functioning of the institutions. However, there can be elections under two circumstances. The first one is in case the majority loses its power in the Assembly and the second in case of an agreement between the parties. I, as President am obliged to perform my constitutional duties and rights, but so far none has approached my office to discuss such issues,” said Thaci. /RTK/
