The CEC foresees the possibility of extraordinary elections

The Central Election Commission, as is rare, has predicted the possibility that the country will go to early or extraordinary elections due to the current political situation.

This CEC prediction is presented in the CEC work plan for 2026, which is expected to be approved at the meeting on Thursday, March 12.

“The holding of early or extraordinary elections will prevent the realization of crushing planned activities, except for those that constitute legal obligations related to reporting or arising from other applicable laws”, this document states.
