A new development has been noted in the case of “attempted murder” that took place in July 2025 in the village of Gojbulë in Vushtrri in front of the houses of the Gërbeshi family, where a person was injured as a result of gunshots, “Mitropol” learns.

On April 24, 2026, a suspect was extradited from Germany in connection with this case. By the decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was taken into custody.

The case dates back to July 12, 2025, when an armed incident took place in the village of Gojbulë at around 20:59. The investigators of the Regional Investigation Sector in South Mitrovica had identified as a suspect F.A., 40 years old, who was suspected of being involved in the shooting.

As a result of this attack, a person was injured, who at the time of the incident was guarding a private property of the Gërbeshi family. The victim was sent for medical treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (KKUK) in Pristina.

At the scene, police units seized two firearm cartridges, which were used as material evidence in the investigative process.

Investigations into this case continued, as two more people were wanted by the police for suspected involvement in this event, one of whom was arrested yesterday, it is learned “Mitropol” from its own sources.
