The US, Israel and Lebanon have agreed to start direct negotiations after a tripartite meeting held at the State Department in Washington, reports Anadolu

Lebanon reaffirmed the “urgent need” for the full implementation of the November 2024 agreement, emphasizing territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as calling for a ceasefire and “concrete measures” to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in the country.
