According to the statement, Israel “expressed support” for the disarmament of non-state armed groups and the dismantling of militant infrastructure in Lebanon, while committing to “direct negotiations” with Lebanon to “achieve this goal and guarantee the security of the peoples of both countries”.

Lebanon reaffirmed the “urgent need” for the full implementation of the November 2024 agreement, emphasizing territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as calling for a ceasefire and “concrete measures” to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in the country.
