World’s largest aircraft carrier arrives on Israeli shores amid US military build-up in region

The American aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, the largest in the world, arrived off the coast of Israel today, according to the Israeli media “Channel 12”, reports Anadolu.

The US military has not made any official announcement.

It is said that the arrival of the aircraft carrier came after 20 American refueling planes landed in Israel on Thursday evening.

The Israel Broadcasting Authority had reported on saw the arrival of four US KC-46A Pegasus refueling planes at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

Reports say the arrivals are part of a US military buildup in the region, due to the possibility of a military strike against Iran.
