This giant skeleton exhibited these days in the Bangkok museum in Thailand is believed to be the largest ever found in Southeast Asia.
Based on the size of the beds, scientists believe that it belongs to a dinosaur of extraordinary size, a full 27 meters long, with a weight of 27 tons, equal to nine adult elephants.
It lived 120 million years ago, weighing at least 10 tons more than the famous dinosaur Diplodocus, but remains smaller than South American titans, such as the Patago-titan that reached 60 tons.
This new species was discovered in the northeastern province of Chajafum, where local residents dictated the fossils on the edge of a water reservoir.
The study on this extraordinary discovery was published in the prestigious scientific journal “Scientific Reports” of the “Nature” group, shed light on the golden age of giants who lived 113 million years ago.
