Fraudulent SMS on behalf of the Kosovo Police, citizens are asked to be careful

Kosovo Police has notified citizens of a fraudulent campaign that is circulating through SMS messages, in which it is falsely claimed that citizens have unpaid traffic fines and are asked to click on the link to make payments.

According to the police announcement, these messages are not official and represent an attempt to deceive citizens, with the aim of obtaining personal and banking data, reports Klankosova.tv.

Police has clearly emphasized that these SMS have nothing to do with the institution and call on citizens to be maximally careful.

Kosovo Police, just as it announced days ago regarding fraudulent messages, again informs citizens that a fraudulent SMS has been identified that is being distributed in the name of Kosovo Police, falsely claiming that citizens have traffic fines and asking for clicking on links for payment.

Kosovo Police said in the announcement. also announced that it is monitoring the situation and remains engaged in preventing cases of online fraud and protecting citizens from cybercriminal activities. /Klankosova.tv
