The President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Shaqir Fetai, as well as to all Muslim believers, reports Anadolu.

She wished that this day be celebrated in peace, joy and family well-being, emphasizing the spiritual importance of major holidays in a world filled with uncertainty, mistrust and separation.

According to her, Kurban Bayram, through its symbolism of sacrifice and generosity, conveys important values such as humanity, empathy, solidarity and responsibility towards others.

The president stressed that the ability to maintain love and care for relatives, even in times of differences and challenges, is an indicator of the integration of a society.

She added that only through understanding and a culture of respect, differences can be transformed in strength and not in weakness, turning into bridges that unite society.
