The Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today visited the mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava, at the headquarters of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, on the occasion of Kurban Bayram, where he said that this holiday obliges solidarity and generosity for the common good, reports KosovaPress.

He also recalled the sublime sacrifice of the 37 Hoxhallar imams who were martyred in the last war in Kosovo.

“The first visit for the Kurban Bayram holiday, like every year, this year we come to the Islamic Community of Kosovo, to congratulate the Mufti, Naim Tërnava and his associates, this holiday of sacrifice, which reminds us and constantly teaches us that even sacrifice is a holiday, because we enjoy the good things and the fruits of those who have sacrificed before us and made it possible for us to have freedom and prosperity, first of all the martyrs of the nation, where we never forget that there are also 37 Hoxhallar imams from the liberation war, which the KLA was the bearer of, until what we do today as institutions to help the citizens for every need they have. Kurban Bajrami is a holiday that obliges us to help each other, to respect each other, to show solidarity and generosity for the general good, leaving no one behind”, Kurti said.
