Sometimes, your brain working too hard for a long time can lead to back pain.

Try to think about something other than your work and your problems. Give yourself time to relax: you can engage in some sport or watch a movie to forget the problems that cause you stress.

The ability to think about something else can reduce your chances of having back pain.

A recent study showed that reading a simple text message can add up to 20 kilograms of pressure on the spinal cord. Just think about it: 20 kg just because you are typing and reading on your mobile phone!

Using mobile phones every day leads to a loss of the natural curve of the back and a heavier load on this part of the back, especially in teenagers.

Scientists calculated that people use an average of 2-4 hours a day, which means that our necks are strained for 700 to 1400 hours in year.

This means that very soon, surgeons will have many more patients – especially teenagers – because persistent bad posture can lead to severe and chronic curvature of the spine. So, at some point, you’ll realize that you can’t stand straight – and it’s all because of your cell phone!

Of course, we can’t stop using the technology that makes our lives so much easier, but at least we can be aware of how we position our bodies. At least control your behavior when using the phone. Your back will thank you.

Don’t avoid sports activities, especially those that require back flexibility (like yoga). It’s important to keep moving.

Muscles relax when they move and stretch slowly. Gradually increase the number of exercises and their complexity and keep moving a lot.
