The Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo has filed an indictment against the defendant S.R., for committing the criminal offenses of “Assault on an official person” and “Participation in a crowd that commits a criminal offense and hooliganism”.

According to the indictment, on 29.05.2023 from 06:00 in the morning until the evening hours, in the perimeter of the facility of the Municipality of Zveçan, i the defendant, in complicity and coordination with other persons, is suspected of having actively participated in a group that has exercised violence against members of the KFOR peacekeeping mission and the Kosovo Police.

“During these actions, strong tools, improvised explosive devices and firearms were used, in which case at least 30 members of KFOR were injured, including three with serious injuries from firearms, as well as several police officers who were in the performance of official duty”, said the Prosecutor’s Office in the press release.

The Prosecutor’s Office said that this is the 8th indictment related to the attack on members of KFOR and members of the KP.
