Iran’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has left Pakistan for an official visit to Russia.
According to the announcement, during this visit he will meet with senior officials of the Russian Federation to discuss Iran-Russia bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments, including the war between the US and Israel.
Araghchi had visited Pakistan twice in two days, as part of efforts diplomatic.
Meanwhile, hopes for direct talks with US officials have dimmed after US President Donald Trump canceled his envoys’ visit to Islamabad, leaving open the possibility that contacts could take place over the phone. /message
