Police in Ferizaj have arrested a person suspected of involvement in several cases of the criminal offense of “serious theft”, which occurred during the last few months.

According to the announcement on Facebook, the Investigation Unit of the police station in Ferizaj, during the period November 2025 – April 2026, has conducted investigations into several thefts committed in the city and in the surrounding villages, including Sojeva, Babush, Dardania, Old Village and Komogllava.

Thefts, according to the police, were mainly committed in business facilities, such as shops and factories, where money and valuables were taken, reports Klankosova.tv.

After investigative actions, including the analysis of security cameras and the collection of information in the field, the suspect was identified as S.T., 35 years old, who is suspected of having committed the crimes despite attempts to masked.

“On 25.04.2026, by order of the Basic Court in Ferizaj, a search was carried out at his house, where material evidence was found, including clothes and tools used in the commission of the crimes. The suspect was arrested and interviewed in the presence of the lawyer, using the right to remain silent”.

“With the authorization of the state prosecutor, criminal proceedings were initiated against him “Serious theft” and has been banned for 48 hours, for further investigative procedures”, says PK./Klankosova.tv
