Residents in southern Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes again after the Israeli army issued a new evacuation order as airstrikes intensified in the region.
The village was about 75 percent populated by morning, according to a local leader, as many residents returned during the ceasefire to repair their homes and businesses. However, after the last warning, they left in a hurry, taking only the bare essentials.
Many of them were stuck in traffic at the main roundabout in the area, as a large number of people were trying to leave at the same time.
An Israeli attack reportedly hit a coffee kiosk at that point, causing at least one death and several injuries. Two more attacks then hit the same location, while dozens of other attacks have been reported across southern Lebanon.
Hospitals and emergency teams continue to report casualties and injuries from the ongoing attacks. /message
