According to the Police, the suspect was arrested on Wednesday and that during his detention, cocaine was found in his body.

“We inform you that after an operative-investigative work in the field and the collection of evidence, today on 08.04.2026, police investigators from the Investigations Sector of the Police Station in Prizren have managed to identify the suspect M.G., who is suspected of being involved in several criminal offenses, such as: “Theft” and “Aggravated theft”. During his arrest by the police investigators, a suspected narcotic substance of the type “Cocaine” was found in the notice.

Regarding the case, the Police informs that in coordination with the supervising prosecutor, a raid was carried out in the suspect’s apartment, where material evidence related to the cases in words.

“The suspect, during the interview in the presence of the defense lawyer, admitted that he committed several thefts in markets and cars. According to the guardian prosecutor’s decision, he was detained for 48 hours. The police are working diligently to identify and arrest other persons involved in the criminal offenses of theft,” the announcement states.

According to the police, on the same day, three suspects were arrested red-handed for serious theft.

“Also, we remind you that today, in the early hours of the morning, the police managed to arrest three suspects red-handed in a case of serious theft. A quantity of stolen gold jewelry was seized from the suspects, as well as a vehicle used in the commission of the crime. After the completion of the procedures, the gold jewelry has been returned to the rightful owner, while the three suspects, by decision of the prosecutor, have been detained for 48 hours”, the announcement states. /BpD
