The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the naval blockade against Iran continues to remain in force, while 58 commercial vessels have been diverted since April 13.

In a statement published on platform X, CENTCOM announced that four vessels have been neutralized to prevent their entry or exit from Iranian ports.

The measures follow the decision of US President Donald Trump, who on April 13 announced blockade against ships traveling to or from Iran.

American officials said earlier in the day that the blockade is “economically suffocating” Tehran and increasing pressure for negotiations. /message
