Customs discovers fake clothes in Pristina, their value over 81 thousand euros

Kosovo Customs units, within the framework of activities to combat smuggling and protect intellectual property rights, have carried out a surprise check in an object suspected of possessing goods without proper documentation and suspected of trademark violations, in Pristina.

During the check, a total of 3,183 pieces of textile products of various international brands were discovered and seized, including clothing, T-shirts, shorts, tracksuits, jackets, hats and other items, Klankosova.tv broadcasts.

The value of the seized goods, according to the customs assessment, amounts to 81,677.46 euros, while the calculated customs and tax obligations amount to over 24 thousand euros.

According to the legal procedures foreseen, the goods were seized by the Kosovo Customs and sent to a secure customs warehouse.
