The Kosovo police have announced that they have arrested a person who was sentenced to one year in prison for the criminal offense of harassment.

According to the announcement, after the arrest, the person was sent to serve the sentence.

“On June 16, 2026, the police officers of the unit for the implementation of the orders of the Prizren Police Station, after operational-investigative actions, managed to locate and arrest the suspect, who was wanted after he was sentenced to one (1) year in effective prison by the all-powerful decision of the Basic Court of Prizren,” the announcement states.

Kosovo Police has said that it remains committed to enforcing the law and guaranteeing public safety, undertaking continuous actions to identify and arrest wanted persons, as well as to prevent criminal offenses that affect the health and well-being of citizens. /Klankosova.tv
