“Louis Vuitton” under the magnifying glass of the Customs: Thousands of products suspected to be copies are seized

During the control of the vehicle, the customs officials are reported to have come across a significant amount of goods without supporting documentation for their origin.

After counting and verifying the goods, the Customs announced through an official announcement that a total of 2,324 items were identified, namely 654 bags and 1,670 wallets of various well-known international brands, for which there is a suspicion of violation of the rights of intellectual property.

According to the initial assessment, the approximate value of the prohibited goods is around 9,500 euros.

“The goods have been detained and placed under customs supervision, while the case is being handled by the competent units of the Kosovo Customs in accordance with the legal procedures in force”, the announcement states.
