The Judicial Council of Kosovo (JJC) will meet on Friday, July 24, where it is expected to consider the request of the acting president, Albulena Haxhiu, and the notifications of judges and staff from the Serbian community for the withdrawal of resignations.

Haxhiu had sent a letter on June 19 to the head of the KJC, Rrustem Thaqi, asking him to give an epilogue to the resignations of the judges and the support staff of the Serbian community in the judicial system of Kosovo.

And, precisely her request, the KJC has as an item on the agenda for Friday’s meeting.

However, the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo on July 20 refused to withdraw the resignations of prosecutors and staff to support Serbian citizens within the prosecutorial system, sending them to u.d. of the president for release from office.

One day after Haxhiu announced that he had signed the decrees for release from office of seven Serbian prosecutors, who had offered their resignations in 2022.

For this decision, there were reactions of EU offices and several embassies in Kosovo. /Klankosova.tv
