Mitrovica, the place of action and the political stronghold of Bedri Hamza, who led the municipality for a four-year term until the end of last year, did not bring the expected results to the PDK in the last elections, writes Mitropol.

According to the results from the regular votes counted in the elections of December 28, the Democratic Party of Kosovo secured 9,352 votes in this municipality.

However, in the election process held yesterday, this political force registered a significant decline in Mitrovica, collecting only 7,653 votes, more than 1,600 less compared to the previous elections.

The effects of this poor result can be many, but it seems that dissatisfaction with Hamza has its own “part” in this result./Mitropol/
