The CEC certifies the Voting List, over 2 million citizens with the right to vote

The Central Election Commission has announced that it has made a decision on the certification of the Voting List for the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on June 7.
According to the data from this list, the number of citizens of Kosovo with the right to vote in this electoral process is: 2,092,174 voters.

This list contains 15,884 more voters than in the early elections for the Kuved which were held on December 28, 2025.

“According to the data from the Voting List, the number of citizens with the right to vote in the polling stations in the Republic of Kosovo is 1,959,962 voters, while the number of citizens who are registered to vote outside of Kosovo is 132,212 voters, of which 100,970 are registered to send the ballot to the mailbox outside Kosovo, 3,518 to send the ballot to the mailbox in Kosovo and 27,724 to vote physically in the diplomatic representation”, it is said by CEC.

The number of young voters who will vote for the first time in the early elections on June 7 is: 22,685 voters, of which 16,934 are considered young voters who, after the elections for the Assembly (28.12.2025), have reached the age of 18 and will vote for the first time in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on the 7 June.

Of these, 8,752 (51.68%) are men, while 8,182 (48.31%) are women, and 5,751 voters are considered registered for the first time in the Central Civil Registry between two pairs of elections, or voters who have returned Kosovo citizenship.

According to the data from this report, the CEC says that the total number of voters who left the LPV after the elections for the Assembly of Kosovo (28.12.2025) is 6,801.

This number includes: 6,165 voters removed as dead persons, recorded by the Civil Registry Agency (ARC), 419 voters removed due to the loss of citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, recorded by the ARC, and 217 voters removed from the voting list after receiving data from KGjK.

“The electoral process within the country will take place in 949 Voting Centers, with a total of 2,550 polling stations, of which 911 centers with 2,498 polling stations for regular voting and 38 centers, one for each municipality, with 52 polling stations to enable conditional voting. Meanwhile, the electoral process abroad, apart from postal voting, will be organized in 30 diplomatic missions, of which 17 embassies and 13 consulates, with a total of 47 polling stations. The physical voting in these missions will take place on June 6, 2026,” says the CEC
