The elderly found without signs of life in Prizren is identified

Kosovo Police has announced that the person who was found without signs of life in Prizren has been identified.

According to the announcement, the case happened on March 26, 2026, around 11:36, on “Edit Durham” street, where a man of about 70 years was found dead. The police units, together with the investigative and crime-technical teams, immediately went to the scene.

The authorities announced that no signs of violence were observed on the victim’s body. The dead body has been sent for further examinations to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Prishtina, while the case has been initiated as a “death investigation” in consultation with the prosecutor.

Initially, the police had asked for the help of citizens to identify the victim. After investigative actions in the field and contact with family members, it was possible to confirm his identity.
