Touching letter from the family of Liridona Ademaj: She is not coming back, we will ask for custody of the children

The family of the deceased Liridona Ademaj has sent a letter to TopChannel’s “Goca dhe Gra” program, after the Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced the perpetrators of her murder, Naim Murseli and Granit Plava, to life imprisonment, while Kushtrim Kokalla to 30 years’ imprisonment.

In the letter, as TopChannel reports, Liridona’s family expresses thanks for everyone’s support, as they say that this decision relieves them no matter how little the pain.

As for the two minor sons of Liridona, the family says that they will seek their custody, according to the necessary conditions.

“After the Court’s decision, we as a family feel relieved as a criminal procedure has culminated in a court decision, and it has not remained only in the conscience of the people and only in the punishment that they have received from the citizens. The punishment that the Court has received was the maximum, which recognizes the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo”. “Liridona does not return for the Ademaj family, nor for the children of Liridona, nor for those who knew her as a strong, hard-working woman, and above all as a person who sacrificed everything for the family. This decision warms the hearts of the family and in the future, for the children of Liridona, they will be the basic documents and confirmation of the truth that happened to the mother of

“The children will have no reason to worry about the establishment of justice regarding their mother, since someone conscientious and professional has decided decently against the perpetrator of their mother’s murder”.

“The family of Liridona will request the Swedish authorities to take care of the children either in the Republic of Kosovo or in any of the countries of the European Union, as the Swedish can accept such a request”, it is said in the letter sent by Liridona’s family.
