Turkish President and Pakistani Prime Minister discuss bilateral relations and regional developments

In a telephone conversation, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and global developments, reports Anadolu.

Erdogan has said that Turkey and Pakistan will continue to take steps to further advance bilateral relations in all fields, according to a statement by Turkey’s Communications Directorate published on the Turkish social platform NSosyal.

Noting that Turkey and Pakistan, together with brotherly countries, are trying to end the conflicts in the region and establish peace and stability, Erdogan has said that the mediation efforts are valuable and has expressed the hope that the negotiations will yield positive results.

Erdogan also congratulated Prime Minister Sharif and the brotherly people of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
