The Kosovo Police has announced that it has arrested two people suspected of involvement in the criminal offense of narcotics in Prizren, as part of the “Stop Drugs 2026” operation.

According to the Police, after the operational actions, the suspects were located and arrested, while in consultation with the guardian prosecutor, a check was carried out in two locations.

During the check, as it is said, 11 bags of narcotic substance were found and confiscated. marijuana weighing 20.21 grams, two plastic bags with cocaine residue, 1,785 euros and 2,000 lek as well as two mobile phones.

“The suspects have been interviewed, and by order of the prosecutor they have been taken into custody. The Kosovo Police remains seriously engaged in the fight against criminal offenses, in particular against the abuse and distribution of narcotics, and is committed to guaranteeing the safety of all citizens,” he says.
