The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjakova has filed an indictment against E.K., suspected of possession and unauthorized sale of narcotics.

According to the indictment, the police initially found 945 euros and 2,000 lek, while during the raid in his house they also seized 9,990 euros, 10 Swiss francs, 187.41 grams of marijuana, 4.56 grams cocaine and tools that were allegedly used for the preparation and distribution of drugs.

“The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjakovë, Department of Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment against the defendant with the initials E.K. According to the indictment, among other things, it is stated that the defendant with the initials E.K., on September 12, 2025 at around 20:15 on the street “Gasper Karaqi” in Gvëjako, with for the purpose of sale or distribution without authorization, possesses substances or preparations which are declared by law as narcotics, psychotropic or similar substances, in such a way that while the defendant was moving along the above-mentioned road with a Honda type motorcycle, after he was stopped by the Kosovo Police, nine (9) plastic bags with narcotic substances weighing 12.82 grams were found in his bag, as well as the amount of money of 945 euros and 2000 lek”, says the announcement.

The prosecution has proposed that the defendant be found guilty and punished according to the law for the criminal offense he is charged with.

“The defendant’s house was then checked and raided, in which case money in the amount of €9990 and 10 Swiss francs, several nylon bags filled with grass-like substance and powder, four (4) digital scales, several empty nylon bags, scissors, knife and one (1) small spoon, which served for the preparation and then the sale or distribution of the narcotic substance”.

“According to the report of the Kosovo Agency for Forensics (AKF), it was found that the seized narcotic substances contained 187.41 grams of marijuana as well as 4.56 grams cocaine. With these actions, according to the indictment, the defendant is accused of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and similar substances” from Article 267 of the Criminal Code. The prosecutor of the case, upon filing the indictment, proposed to the court that the defendant be found guilty and punished according to the law for the criminal offense burden”, it is stated in the press release./Klankosova.tv
