A correctional officer of Dubrava, suspected of taking bribes, is suspended from work

The Disciplinary Commission of the Kosovo Correctional Service (KSC), has made a decision to temporarily suspend from employment the correctional officer D. Q, engaged in the Dubrava Correctional Center.

The KSC says that the decision was taken after the initiation of the disciplinary procedure for “suspicion of a serious disciplinary violation and will remain in force until another decision is made”, reports Klankosova.tv.

We recall that on Monday (July 13), the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pejë, namely the Department for Serious Crimes, filed an indictment against the defendant with the initials D.Q., under the suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Taking a bribe”.

According to the announcement of the Prosecution, D.Q., in the capacity of an official person, is suspected that during the period June-August 2025, in three separate cases, he accepted indirect benefits in money from a person deprived of liberty.
