Four police officers were injured during the arrest of a 45-year-old man from Samadraxha e Suharekë.

According to the official announcement, today at around 08:30, the Kosovo Police received a complaint from a citizen that the suspect B.K. had blocked the “Ramush Kotori” road, placing metal rods embedded in the ground and connected by wire, preventing the free flow of traffic. residents.

In the announcement it is emphasized that during the intervention, the suspect attacked the police officers with a knife.

“The police reacted with immediate actions, neutralizing the attack and managing to arrest the suspect”, the official announcement states.

According to the police, during the arrest process, as a result of violent opposition from the suspect, four police officers suffered minor bodily injuries, but not from the knife.

“The suspect has been arrested and sent to the Police Station in Suharekë, where other procedural actions will be taken in consultation with the State Prosecutor, in accordance with the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kosovo”.
