The Director of the Inspectorate in Malishevë, Jakup Krasniqi has announced that the municipal inspectors have taken action after discovering a bar that was practicing illegal gambling activities.

Krasniqi has announced that the Police have confiscated gambling machines in violation of the law. He has also announced that the bar has been closed by the Municipal Inspectorate.

“Gambling devices are confiscated and a bar in Malishevë is closed. The Director of the Malishevë Inspectorate, Jakup Gashi, has announced that the municipal inspectors have taken action after discovering a bar that was carrying out illegal gambling activities. According to him, the case was identified by the Malishevë Police, who found that in the bar gambling machines were being used in violation of the law. In cooperation with the Police, the Municipal Inspectorate has notified the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) as well as the Kosovo Customs. During the action, five gambling machines have been confiscated, while the bar has been closed by the Municipal Inspectorate pending legal procedures,” announced Krasniqi.
