Chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, published on Facebook on Sunday the speech held at the 63rd meeting of the party’s General Council, where his candidacy for prime minister in the next elections was also confirmed.

In the speech, Kurti spoke about the achievements of his government, mentioning economic growth, salary increases, increased jobs, as well as investments in education, health and security.

He also criticized the opposition, accusing it of blocking institutional processes and obstructing decisions in the Assembly, including matters of national and international importance.

According to Kurt, the actions of the opposition are coming as a result of, as he said, the loss of popular support and efforts to hinder the country’s progress.

At the end of the speech, he called for continued political support for Vetëvendosje, stressing that their aim remains the economic development, strengthening of the state and the European integration of Kosovo.
