Israeli strikes kill 3 Palestinians, injure 4 in latest Gaza ceasefire violations

At least three Palestinians, including the head of the police investigation unit in Khan Younis, were killed and four others wounded today in the latest Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, authorities and medical sources said, Anadolu reports.

The attacks came amid continued violations by Tel Aviv of the ceasefire agreement that is in force since October 2025.

The General Directorate of Gaza police said Wissam Fayez Abdel Hadi and Sergeant Fadi Abdul-Maati Heikal were killed after an Israeli airstrike on their vehicle in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Another person was killed and two others were wounded after an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources told Anadolu.

The attacks took place in areas outside the Israeli military deployment under the terms of the ceasefire agreement, Anadolu correspondent reported.

In Gaza City, local sources told Anadolu that two fishermen were wounded by Israeli naval fire while fishing at sea.

The sources added that Israeli warships fired shells and opened heavy machine gun fire towards the City’s coastline. of Gaza.

In another incident, the Israeli army carried out demolition operations targeting residential buildings and facilities within its deployment areas east of Gaza City, while witnesses reported a large explosion caused by the demolitions.

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces also shelled the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, according to witnesses.

Since the ceasefire took effect, forces Israeli forces have killed an estimated 850 Palestinians and injured 2,433 others through ongoing violations that include shelling and gunfire, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
