A person has been arrested for war crimes in Zubin-Potok.

As part of the ongoing investigations related to the war crimes case in Zubin Potok, on Thursday, by order of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), investigators from the War Crimes Investigation Directorate have arrested a suspect.

R.K. has been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “War crimes against the civilian population”, and has been detained for 48 hours, the Special Prosecutor’s Office announces.

Within the legal deadline set by the Code of Criminal Procedure, the PSRK will submit a request to the Basic Court in Pristina for the determination of the measure of detention, while, in coordination with the police investigators, it will continue to take the necessary actions investigation.

The Special Prosecutor’s Office and the Kosovo Police reaffirm their commitment to the investigation and prosecution of all possible perpetrators of crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
