Kosovo police have provided details regarding the control operation carried out in the offices of the Directorate for Citizenship, Asylum and Migration (DShAM) under the suspicion of involvement in criminal activity by officials of this directorate.

A case has been initiated against the suspects for the following criminal offences: “abuse of official position or authority”, “taking bribery, falsification of an official document and giving a bribe. By the decision of the prosecutor, the first three suspects were sent to detention for up to 48 hours, while the case against the suspect E.Q. will be conducted in regular procedure.
