Israel continues attacks on homes and civilians in Gaza, 7 Palestinians injured

Seven Palestinians were wounded early Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes and artillery strikes that targeted a house and a civilian gathering in the Gaza Strip, Anadolu reported.

The attacks came as Israel continued to violate a ceasefire in place since October 2025. Israeli shelling and shelling have killed 880 Palestinians and injured 2,605 others. from the entry into force of the agreement.

Five injured people, including children, arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital after an Israeli airstrike targeted a house belonging to the Zaqout family in the Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli warplanes struck without warning, causing extensive damage to the house and the surrounding area, and causing a fire that civil defense teams later brought under control.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of Gaza City and east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, while military vehicles stationed near what is known as the “Yellow Line” opened fire.

The “Yellow Line” refers to the border at which Israeli forces withdrew inside Gaza as part of the second phase of a plan to announced by the US president, Donald Trump, to end the war in the enclave. The line separates areas under full Israeli military control.

In Khan Younis in southern Gaza, two Palestinians were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian gathering on Route 5 in the Mawasi area, according to a medical source at Nasser Hospital.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes struck a house belonging to the Abu Shamala family in Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza after launching a evacuation warning.

The cease-fire agreement was reached after Israel’s two-year war that has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians, injured more than 172,000 and caused massive destruction affecting 90 percent of civilian infrastructure.
