Even though he is in office, Prime Minister Albin Kurti is continuing to add deputy ministers to his cabinet.
On Friday, in an announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office, it was announced that Kurti has appointed three deputy ministers – Ali Dula to the position of first deputy minister in the Ministry of Regional Development, Agon Batusha to the Ministry of Local Government Administration and Hysni Mehani to the Ministry of Finance.
Dula was a candidate of the Vetëvendosje movement for mayor of Rahovec in the local elections of 2025, Batusha a former candidate for deputy and Mehani a former candidate for mayor of Skenderaj.
Kosovo will also go to a pair of parliamentary elections on June 7, after the parties failed to elect the president.
