Two traffic accidents were registered on Tuesday on the Pristina-Pejë road, causing convoys of vehicles and traffic difficulties for several hours.

The spokesperson of the Kosovo Police, Daut Hoxha, informed Klankosova.tv. that the first accident happened in the afternoon and three vehicles were involved.

“Three vehicles were involved in the first accident, where as a result, in addition to material damage, minor injuries were also caused”, Hoxha said.

According to him, another accident was caused in the village of Sllatina, while both cases have influenced the creation of long queues on this road axis.

“As a result of the accidents convoys of vehicles were caused until the vehicles left the scene”, he declared.

Hoxha announced that the police units reacted immediately by going to the scene and taking the necessary actions.

“Police units came to the scene and took the necessary operational and investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the cases, according to legal procedures”, emphasized the Police spokesperson.

The police Kosovo has called on all traffic participants to show extra care while driving.

“We appeal to all vehicle drivers to be extra careful, adapt the speed to the conditions on the road and respect the traffic signs”, concluded Hoxha.
