Gun shots were reported on Sunday evening in the village of Bajnicë in Kaçanik.

According to information from the police, response and investigation units immediately went to the scene, where it was suspected that unknown persons, using a black jeep type car with local license plates, entered a mountainous area and fired automatic weapons into the air.

During the examination of the scene, investigators have found a total of 49 cartridges, which are suspected to have been fired from an AK-47 automatic rifle, in a quantity that corresponds to about two magazines, reports Klankosova.tv.

After the investigative actions, the police managed to locate the suspect car, which was found parked in a garage. Furthermore, a suspect with the initials E.S., 26 years old, was identified, from whom an AK-47 automatic weapon and 35 cartridges were seized.

The suspect was accompanied to the police station, where he was interviewed in the presence of the competent authorities.

By the decision of the state prosecutor, the case was initiated with the criminal offense of “Use of a dangerous weapon or tool”, while the suspect was released in a pending procedure. regular.
