About 250 Rohingya refugees and Bangladeshi nationals are missing after a boat capsized in the Andaman Sea, according to the United Nations.
The boat, packed with men, women and children, is believed to have sunk due to strong winds, rough seas and overcrowding, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) said in a statement published on on Tuesday.
International authorities express great concern for the fate of the people on board, while search and rescue operations are hampered by bad weather conditions. /message
