Statements made viral by a former servant of a genocidal state

Former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo, during a tour investigating illegal settler violence in the occupied West Bank, compared the scenes he saw to the Holocaust.

Pardo was a major general in the Israeli army and director of the Mossad intelligence agency from 2011 to 2016.

“My mother survived the Holocaust. What I saw here today reminded me of the events that happened in the last century in a very developed country. These are the phenomena that were seen there against the Jews,” Pardo said during a tour of Palestinian villages that have been the target of attacks in recent months.

“I am ashamed to be a Jew here today,” he added.
