Kosovo Police has extradited today a citizen of Kosovo and Sweden, who was wanted by the Swedish authorities with an international cover letter.
According to the announcement of the Police on ἝἝἍFacebook, the person with the initials E.K. was arrested in Kosovo following the request issued through Interpol by the justice institutions of Sweden, under the suspicion of involvement in the criminal offense “Trafficking in narcotics”.
The extradition was carried out by the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination with the relevant units of the Kosovo Police and the institutions of justice.
“The suspect was arrested by the Kosovo Police as he was wanted through INTERPOL with an international warrant issued by the institutions of justice of Sweden, for the criminal offense “Trafficking with narcotics”. The extradition was carried out based on the laws in force and the close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Sweden”, says PK./Klankosova.tv
