Attacks by stray dogs in the premises of the KKUK, the formation of an emergency headquarters is initiated

The University Clinical Center of Kosovo has announced that the acting director, Mentor Zejnullahu, has initiated the formation of an Emergency Headquarters within the KKUK, as a response to the situation created by the presence of stray dogs within the institution’s campus. and the implementation of urgent measures for the identification, control, removal and prevention of the danger from stray dogs.

The Acting Director of the KKUK, Mentor Zejnullahu, has initiated the formation of an Emergency Headquarters within the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (KKUK), as a response to the situation created by the presence of stray dogs within the institution’s campus.

The purpose of this headquarters is to ensure the immediate protection of patients, health staff, visitors and citizens, through inter-institutional coordination and the implementation of urgent measures for the identification, control, removal and prevention of danger from stray dogs.

The Emergency Headquarters consists of representatives of the internal structures of the KKUK, including institutional leaders, representatives from the Emergency Clinic, the Legal Office, as well as the Security Service and firefighters. In this mechanism, relevant institutions outside the KKUK are also included, such as the Municipality of Pristina, the Food and Veterinary Agency (AUV), the Kosovo Police, the contracting company for the treatment of stray dogs, the Municipal Inspectorate, as well as licensed organizations for the protection of animals.
