The Albanian wife gave the alarm – thieves break into Benjamin Pavard’s house, 5 people are arrested

French footballer Benjamin Pavard has faced an incident in his apartment in France, after five people tried to enter his property to commit robbery.

According to the French media, the alarm was given by the Albanian wife of the player, Kleofina Pnishi, who noticed the suspects outside the apartment.

It is reported that the perpetrators left immediately in a “Mercedes” type vehicle, after spotted, but the police managed to stop and arrest them a few minutes later. All five people have been taken to the police station and are being investigated for attempted robbery.

According to reports, the arrested are aged 25-26 and had traveled from the Île-de-France region to carry out the robbery. It is not yet known if Pavard was at home at the time of the incident.

French media write that this is not the first time that people from the football world in Marseille have fallen prey to robbery attempts, as other club figures have faced similar incidents in recent months.
