The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Mitrovica has announced that Sami Lushtaku has been invited for an interview as a suspect in the attack on Hysni Mehani and Bahri Zabel.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Lushtaku and the other suspect K.H. have not responded to the invitation.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects E.L and B.N have been detained for 48 hours after being interviewed.

“Two other suspects in this case with the initials S.L. and K.H. have not yet responded to the invitation for an interview”, says the Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Mitrovica.

It is known that five witnesses were also interviewed for this case.

Today during the day Mehani was attacked in a bar in Skenderaj, as he said by Sami Lushtaku.

The secretary of the LVV branch in this municipality, Bahri Zbaeli, was also attacked.

The mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku, said after the incident that “the citizens do not they tolerate the labels ‘Sami Serbia’, that’s why they reacted”.

The Vetëvendosje movement, condemning this attack which it has called banditry, has asked the law enforcement agencies that the case be dealt with urgently and that measures be taken against those responsible.

The case has also been condemned by the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
