17 workers of Trepca are temporarily out of work

17 workers of the enterprise “Trepça Sh.A” have been suspended from work by decision of the management.

In the decision provided by Klan Kosova, it is said that the workers in question have been temporarily dismissed from work starting from 19.06.2026.

The Chairman of the Workers’ Union of Trepça, Ibrahim Jonuzi, confirmed the decision to Klankosova.tv as he said that this issue is being discussed with the management.

Jonuzi stated that these workers are expected to return to their place of work very soon because, according to him, there was a “difference” between the parties.

“They left temporarily, but I believe that they will return to work very soon. There has been a difference between them and the management. We are in talks with the management and I believe that they will return to their place of work very soon”, he said of klankosova.tv.

However, Klan Kosova has learned that the reason for their suspension was some requests that the employees in question submitted to the management.

The staff had three requests, which are: uniforms, workforce and the third request is about working hours, saying that within 40 hours they do not have health options to work 24 hours.

In the decision for temporary dismissal, the reason is mentioned exceeding the authorizations given by the workers and refusing without justified reasons to perform work tasks and implement work orders issued by competent persons.
