Minister of Economy Artane Rivanolli has announced that KEK and KESCO have reached an agreement according to which there will be no increase in electricity tariffs.

Rizvanolli in a video message published on Facebook has said that the Government of Kosovo welcomes this agreement.

“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo welcomes the agreement between KEK and KESCO which would enable us not to have an increase according to the ERO consultative report of electricity tariffs”, she said.

Rizvanolli also said that he thanks all the parties who have committed to this year’s investments in KEK to continue in both power plants “in order to increase their production and lifespan, while maintaining the affordability of prices for our citizens and businesses”.
